York Photo Studio Covid-19 safe working practices for visiting clients

We aim to ensure that we take all the mitigating actions possible to reduce the risk of transmission of Covid-19 between those working on and attending shoots at the studio.

Measures in Place

  • Notices are being displayed reminding customers to wash hands frequently and to maintain 2m social distancing wherever possible.

  • There are hand washing facilities available in the kitchen and bathroom areas, linen towels have been replaced with paper towel dispensers, and waste bins provided in each area.

  • Alcohol-based handrub sanitiser and sanitising spray is available for use before / during / after your shoot.

  • The studio including lighting equipment will be sanitised before and after each shoot.

  • Door handles, taps and any other surfaces that are identified as ‘high-touch’ will be cleaned regularly, especially between sessions where for example different photographers may be in the studio.

How many people can be in the studio?

  • We will insist on adhering to 2m social distancing and where this isn’t possible face coverings must be worn.

  • We will have to limit the number of people in the studio to only those necessary for the shoot. Initially this will be Photographer & client / model only,  with support as needed from the Studio Owner or Manager.

  • Group shoots will be restricted to 3rd party bookings, and this is solely at your own risk.

Drinks and Catering

  • We will continue to provide tea, coffee & cold drink facilities. Cups, glasses, mugs, cutlery etc. will be cleaned thoroughly in the dishwasher at the end of each shoot.

Clients are welcome to bring their own cups or beverages.

Entry to the studio

  • If you are feeling unwell or you have any of the recognised symptoms of Covid-19 then we ask you to stay away from the Studio.

Please be considerate to others. We will do our best to make the studio a safe working environment, however shoots are undertaken at your own risk. York Photo Studio does not take any responsibility for transmission of the COVID-19 virus that might have taken place on its premises.
