“Wow, well where do I even start!!!!!
It was my 3rd time visiting York Photo Studio but my 1st studio day there run by the fantastic Kevin! All pre-comms where great and with the studio also being a fully equipped apartment it was great to stay there the night before, it meant I could unpack my case and have everything ready for the studio day. Kevin is an amazing host collecting me from the train station and showing me the local necessities, he made me feel very welcome and at home.
It’s a fab studio, as I say laid out like an apartment which means you really can get the realistic set ups. One room styles an unbelievable wooden floor for those reflection shots which are stunning. An amazing dressing room with an endless collection of clothing, shoes, accessories which really made me want to play dress up (and so tidy, everything had a place)
Kevin was on hand all day for any changes and lighting set ups that the photographers asked for. All the equipment you could need, also got to shoot upstairs in the yoga studios which was fantastic for my dance. And of course he makes a lovely cuppa. It was by far one of my best studio days and I really cant wait to get back there. I also got to shoot with Kevin which I had been wanting to do for a good while. Kevin is extremely organized and a lovely character to spend the day with. Very very happy model and I would definitely highly recommend this studio to anyone.”

“Kevin laid on an excellent Lighting Workshop evening at his studio. Kevin showed us 5 different lighting set ups and had arranged a local model ‘Monia’ to demonstrate how best to utilize the lighting during a model shoot. Kevin provided very useful information and gives many creative ideas how best to use the lighting. I would recommend any future lighting sessions to new studio photographers and indeed those like me who need to gain better insight into how to use lighting for model shoots. I also came away with some very good shots from the evening. Thanks as always Kevin.”

I had a great time. Kevin is very welcoming and always courteous of the models asking if I was ok as well as making every one feel comfortable with the ideas we had coming.
He created a plan for the day with schedules and groups so no one was left out. well done on that sir.
He is also a great photographer and will surely have some really great shots that I participated in on solo and duo work with him. Has a confidence in suggesting his ideas to you by describing his pose position as well as allowing you to do your own thing.

“I am very impressed.
Hi Kevin. Finally I am able to get round to writing a full email properly with regards to the photos. I must say I am very impressed, I loved every photo. Was very surprised by them and it has certainly given me the confidence to do it again! I’ve uploaded half the photos to my Facebook to show people and honestly the messages have been flying through with relation to the studio etc - I forwarded on the details of the studio and included the yoga too. I have no issues with you uploading a few photos to the page but please not my tongue out one!”
